Hudson Willow were tasked to build on Julius Berger’s strong brand identity, by updated key elements of the brand system, to maximize flexibility and strengthen the use of the existing took kit by extending and reimaging rules for use as well as introducing new and exciting applications of key elements of the brand’s existing visual identity for a fresh and future ready image.

The project included the redesign of key communication collateral including the company brochure and annual report.

Using an updated grid system that provided greater flexibility and consistency and a newly defined use of polygon shapes as for the framing of visual and written content, we redesigned key communication collateral. The update included the development of voice guidelines, to ensure ultimate consistency and alignment of voice and visual identity, ensuring a impactful and recognizable brand experience across touchpoints. Progress was documented in a detailed brand guidelines and user guides for the annual report template, to enable in house designers and partners to apply the brand with consistency into the future.

As part of our supporting content for the 50th anniversary campaign, we collaborated on the development of a company history brochure that captured Julius Berger’s impact on Nigeria’s infrastructure and building developments, which was supported by print and digital adverts and promotional material.
