Abumet is an innovative and service-led provider of aluminium and glass solutions in West Africa. As part of their 30th anniversary, the company sought to achieve a progression of their brand identity – one that would capture their positioning as a reliable partner and technically advanced industry leader.
Building off the existing brand logo and maintaining the widely recognised orange brand colour. We provided the strategic foundation for the development of creative assets took inspiration from Abumet’s product portfolio. Inspired by aluminium profile systems used in the manufacturing of windows and doors, cross sections of aluminium profiles have been used as illustrative backgrounds to create visual interest, connecting back to the source material.
With Abumet’s multiple audiences top of mind, we created a professional yet approachable strategically-mapped brand voice that connects to the emotional drivers of all. It can be imagined as a helpful consultant; always approachable, expert, fluent in technical products specifications and with the ability to advise on interior design trends. Ready with tips and hints, Abumet’s voice reflects the brand’s pillars of quality, service and innovation.
Together with a partner digital agency, we relaunched the Abumet website. We focused on highlighting and showcasing the company’s expansive service and product portfolio with an emphasis on customisation. The new website enables easy product discovery that helps audiences realise their aesthetic and commercial ambitions, aided by copy that connects and a visual identity that brings products to life.
Together with the launch of the new website, we created a new company video to highlight Abumet’s services, focusing on innovation and expertise in the market. After creating the script, storyboard and art direction, we collaborated with a video production partner in Nigeria and London voiceover talent to produce a succinct company overview.
